Responsibilities
- Assist classroom teachers with daily activities, routines, and transitions.
- Provide care, supervision, and support to children throughout the day.
- Step into classrooms as needed to cover breaks, lunches, staff absences, and busy periods.
- Help prepare and participate in age-appropriate activities.
- Support children with meals, diapering, toileting, handwashing, and other personal-care needs as appropriate.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
- Assist with cleaning and sanitizing classrooms, toys, tables, bathrooms, and other areas as assigned.
- Follow all center policies, safety procedures, and licensing requirements.
- Communicate respectfully and professionally with children, families, teachers, and management.
- Help create a positive, welcoming, and fun environment for children.
- Be flexible and willing to work in different classrooms throughout the center.
